JUNIOR CRICKET 2012Dates & times
Junior cricket training sessions are held every Sunday morning during the season at The Wells from 09:00 until 11:30am. The season starts on Sunday 29th April 2012 and ends on Sunday 26th August 2012. Junior cricket week will commence on 13th August 2012. The youngest age group we can coach comprises those who were seven before 1st September 2012 i.e. currently in year three at school. We have teams at Under 10/11, Under 11, Under 12, Under 13, Under 14, Under 15 and Under 16 levels. Their games are detailed on the Junior fixtures page. We look forward to a warm, sunny summer. Please read the Guidance notes for Junior Cricketers and if you have any further queries, contact one of the coaches.
We also offer coaching on Thursday & Friday evenings between 6:15pm and 8:00pm. These sessions are £5.00. Tuesdays are for children 14 and over and Fridays are for those younger. All junior cricketers are invited to attend. The intention is that these evening sessions are quite structured by placing emphasis on batting, bowling and fielding skills. There will be rather less attention paid to having organised games as this will be continue to be the format of Sunday mornings.
Registration Forms
Please contact Freddie Goldman (freddie.goldman@tiscali.co.uk) for a registration form and a parental consent form. It is essential that all players, no matter what age they are, or are club members have completed both a registration form and a consent form and have had them both signed by their parents or guardians. No player is exempt. If we find players who have not returned these forms duly signed they we will be stopped from attending or playing for a team until the matter is rectified. This applies to returning members as our memberhip is open throughout the summer for new and joining members.
ClubMark
